In any case, a commenter alerted me to a new post by Dave Scott, who talks about why Mr. Obie is on the Giant Glass spots, as opposed to Little Geffo:

It appears the buyers weren’t comfortable with the understated Geffner and felt much better with the booming voice of O’Brien.
