Trup: Gone, But Not Forgotten

A couple of people emailed me about this, and it's just cool.

Here's a post over at The Velvet Rope talking about The Office last week:

The plot involved age discrimination and Michael, fearing that he was going to be fired by new boss/former temp Ryan Howard, enlisted elderly company co-founder Robert Dunder to speak to the staff. Dunder referenced an old DM emplyee named Jerry Trupiano and his son Nesn. It was nice to hear a little tribute to Trupe on a popular network TV show, not surprising since there are a lot of MA expats on The Office (BJ Novak, Patrice Oneal, Nancy Walls, John Krasinski, Mindy Kaling and Steve Carell).

Maybe in a few years, Geffner will do a guest spot on 2 1/2 Men (Guess who he'll play?)
