Not much new in it, but it's nice to get some insight into how Joe and Dave go about calling the game.
Joe is quoted as saying: "People tell my they know the score by the tone of my voice...for a network guy, that would be an indictment. I take it as a compliment."
It's absolutely the case that you can tell if the Sox are up or down within seconds of tuning in the game. Whether that's good or not depends on the listener. I'm fine with it.
